Joulupukki-tv.com Oy (called Joulupukki TV) is an innovative media and entertainment company based in Rovaniemi, in Finnish Lapland.

Joulupukki TV was founded in July 2000 by Finnish and French shareholders coming from the toy and IT industry with extensive experience in the management of museums and in public sector development activities.

Today Joulupukki TV employs five persons and a network of freelancers and subcontractors in Finland, Japan and France. In addition Joulupukki TV offer interesting interships for students coming from higher education establishments.

November 2000 : Opening of www.santatelevision.com website

December 2000 : First television co-production: The Advent Calendar / Le Calendrier de l'Avent (in French)

November 2001 : The first contract for mobile content in Japan. Selling mobile content (colour wallpapers) for the I-mode system

October 2002 : Opening of Digital City (Pavillion Digital), produced by Joulupukki TV, in the Futuroscope theme park in France

June 2003 : Joulupukki TV's mobile content production specialised on seasonal mobile phone content.

November 2003 : A Santa Claus video, produced by Joulupukki TV for the Junior Chambers of Rovaniemi (Finland) and Miki (Japan) win the Junior Chamber World prize.

December 2003 : Launching of the Santa Claus DVD "Santa Claus' Secrets" in 4 languages

April 2004 : Inauguration of a new interactive concept of karaoke and Vjing in Futuroscope theme park in France

July 2004 : Move to new premises in Santa's Technology Park on the Arctic Circle (2 km from the Rovaniemi International Airport in Finland)

November 2004 : Launching of the new edition Santa Claus DVD "Santa Claus' Secrets" in 5 languages

November 2005 : Sandrew Metronome Finland is publishing in Finland Joulupukki TV’s new 1 hour “Joulupukin salaisuuksia” DVD (Santa’s Secrets)

November 2005 : Christmas Exhibition opened at the Arctic Circle in Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi (Finland). Joulupukki TV is one of the three expert companies planning the exhibition, playing a particularly strong role the section “Christmas around the World”. In addition Joulupukki TV has produced the videos of the exhibition.

December 2005 : Joulupukki TV presents, first in Finland, DVD postcards in cooperation with the French company Champlibre. Company has at the moment souvenir DVD-postcards in four following themes: Lapland, Santa's Summer, Santa and reindeer and Santa and elves.

June 2006 : Joulupukki TV open Lapland's Santa Claus' Internet TV site in Italian in the adress www.babbonatale.fi. The company is already hosting the service in other language versions, like www.santatelevision.com, www.perenoel.fi, www.joulupukki.fi and www.weihnachtsmann.fi.

November 2006 : Northern lights DVD-postcard launched successfully. The product is sold a souvenir all around the Finland.

December 2007 : Joulupukki TV co-produced in 2007, in cooperation with the company BG-BC, for the French theme park Futuroscope a four minutes long dynamic seat movie called "Laponie Express / Lapland Express".
